Ran out of gas last night. Put 5 gals into sled with some iso heet in with it. Sled still wont start. Checked plugs put new ones in. Still wont start. Is there something I am missing. Sled has back fired 2 while trying to start it. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Dumb question, but did you shut the fuel off at some time and forget to turn it back on?

No fuel is on. Its definalty seems to be getting fuel. Had the sled in enclosed heated area last night, to make sure nothing froze up.

Is it an EFI sled? I seem to recall somewhere I heard that some EFI systems have to be reset when you run out of gas or oil. I am not 100% positive on this. Check your owners manual and see if there is something you need to do to restart after running out of gas or oil.

Didnt see anything in owners manual about restarting sled, after running out of gas. Thanks for the advice anyway. Think i have heard something to about resetting something before restarting, just cant remember what is was.

My sons sled ran out of gas last night about a mile from the house. He had neglected to tell me he had been out the day before after school. And I was under the impression he had 1/2 a tank left.(we where headed to the store) After siphoning fuel into his sled we had to prime it by putting fuel into the cyl. If you dumped iso heat into a empty tank then filled the tank you most likley will need to do the same, As the first thing thats gonna see the pump is the iso heet.
