there was a foot and a half of snow, main trails not groomed(not open). all the small trails and roads were fun! the lake was 7 inchs thick in the center. some slush spots when i first got there but by the next day they were all frozen. -10 during the day, -21 at night.

Just curious if you rode past the liquor store in Mactier? The groomers are abandoned there all summer and most of the winter too.... Lots of swamps up in that area so I am sure they are a little nervous just yet... Any info would be good . What lake were you referring to??? J.

gala lake, is the lake im on, i didnt go into mactier so i cant help u there, and the swamps arent ready yet. but as far as the snow goes it was fun
