We are heading up to ride on Tuesday and Wednesday and wanted to know if anybody was riding out of Bertheirville yet or if we should keep going up to Schawinigan and ride out of there up to St.Raymond. Any info would be great. Thanks

Have you lost had anything stolen in the area. We left trucks at hotel just off exit before and they put on wheel locks. Did not have any problems but do not know how well these will stop a thief.

I haven't personally, but I read about some people that had issues. Can't remember how long ago it was, but I take precautions no matter where I am in Quebec.

I have left my truck once at the Days Inn in Berthierville. As stated, they give you these big "Denver boots" to lock around the wheels. Nobody touched our trucks on that trip but we didnt have newer vehicles at the time either.

I have heard some BAD stories from shit being stolen there so prepare yourself if you do park there.

I would recommened the "Governeur" in Shawinigan instead. They have a locked coral and better riding out of there.
Lock/disable your stuff there too though.

Lock up everything , they will steal the filling out of your teeth when your sleeping in this particular area. Go see Bernard.

We did leave our truck at the Days Inn in Bertheriaville. They now have a locked gated area with added lighting, security cameras and they also put on the Denver Boot locks.Thiefs will need to work harder. Person working at hotel also said that last year they where taking relays out and lost nothing last year and that was before the gates and security cameras. Looks like a safe place to leave the rig and ride your sleds more and drive the truck less. They charge $20 a day for parking if you do not spend the night and it is free if you do spend the night.
