the reeds off my rmk are not pressed up on the rubber enuf and letting fuel flow too rich...whats the fix other than buying new ones,,they arenot damaged, can i simply flip them around (backwards) and install or are they only effective as is

They are that way from day 1. They do not seal completely. If your sled is running rich, or richer than in years past and it is an RMK with the ACCS then odds are the ACCS is going bad. As they fail they go rich. I removed mine and vented the carbs into the airbox like a 2000 SKS. If you really want to replace your reeds then buy a set of take outs from a Polaris small block 600. They are worth a couple HP over your stockers and are a lot cheaper than V-force.

Second, I have the same sled and I run 38 pilots with the 1371G needle in #3 and 178-180 for mains to zero safely. I get the same mileage as my neighbor on his ZL 500 EFI.

If your RMK is an 800 then disregard this information:)
