Full Version: bypass throttle safety switch

I read all about the throttle safety switches going bad on the zr's i have 3 so figure one is going to go bad, how do you do this?? Want to be ready for it

There will be a small harness coming out of you're throttle block. Follow the harness under the key console and unplug it. Simple as that

I wouldnt unplug it forever,snap the middle prong off the (3 wire plug) wiring harness and plug it back together,then your kill switch will work...

My killswitch still works on my ZR with the switch unplugged

mine works also but it is backwards..down is on and up is off ????.and only works sometimes...wtf???
