Today was the first time I have rode on the trails in Nova Scotia. Many thanks to smclelan and the rest of the gang and especially Brian for the clutch work in the cold!!! We had a great day and I saw some beautiful country and I look forward to my next ride in NS. Pic is the 104 a quick "smoke break".

The groomers had been out in many of the areas and the trails were very good considering the amount of snow they had to work with. This area has gone a couple of years without decent snow cover and the local businesses that count on sledders are very happy to see the snow. We had lunch at Big Als and our waiter did not hide the fact that he was overjoyed at the number of sleds in his parking lot and eating in his dining room. Great food and a nice atmosphere and very sled friendly with gas next door. We saw quite a number of sleds on the trails as people were out enjoying opening day.

Andy!! I'm so jealous that you got to ride my trails before I did!! Dad and I are planning on getting out over my Xmas break - perhaps you would be able to make another trip to NS and join us?!?
Otherwise, I'll have to try and convince smclelan to haul the sleds to NB... and I can't see that being an easy feat.

What's this, an HCS ride and invitations got lost in the mail or something?

j/k!

It was definitely a nice day for a ride. It was, unfortunately, chore day at this house. Or I should say, weekend. I think I got most of them out of the way though, things are looking up.

So did he hook you up with some spray while he was tuning your clutch? wink.gif

it's alot harder to talk him into things when he has to foot all the bills! trust me - i've learned at least that much from him!
i'll see what i can do though - u should start to warm him up to the idea too!
