A group of us from Nova Scotia are thinking of making a snowmobile trip from Bathurst,New Brunswick and going to northern Maine for 2-3 days and then heading back.Iam looking for information such where to cross the border,where to head for ouce we cross,where to get tril maps and and what we need for passes. Any info would be appreciated Thanks

if you do it the first weekend in Feb you can take advantage of the International Snowmobile Festival, Madawaska, ME and Edmonton, NB.
For $30 bucks US or CAN you can take advantage of the ISF fee and not pay for the reg trail passes.
Fill out the form and send it in ahead of time and you can get the pass ahead of time.
I am putting a trip together from a NY club and love the Northern Maine and NB trail systems.
Looking to go from Caribou Maine up to the south shore of Gaspie in March, already did the whole loop from Matane.

Stay at Gateway in Madawaska, only place with food on site.
