Full Version: 1,800CC ENGINE START-UP
A friend of mine has a 1,800cc motor that he starts by hand off the driven clutch, and wants to try something different. I was at a radar run and there was a guy using a battery operated starter on a big sled with a battery cart that looked like a big impact gun and I wondered if you guys knew anything about this type of setup. Anyone here using something similar?

I have seen that set up on the asphalt sleds. I would check with Wahl Brothers N.Y. or the Crank Shop in Vermont.
Drag racing uses that setup often, on cars.
