Winter Storm Watch in effect from late Saturday night through
Sunday evening...
The National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac has issued a
Winter Storm Watch... which is in effect from late Saturday night
through Sunday evening.
Light snow is expected to overspread the area late Saturday
night... becoming heavy Sunday morning. Snow will continue during
the day... with northerly wind gusts to around 30 mph causing
reduced visibilities due to snow and blowing snow. Snowfall
accumulations of 6 to 12 inches are possible... with over a foot
possible in and around the Port Huron area.
A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant
snow and winds that may impact travel. Later developments... such
as the exact path of the storm... will determine if... when... and
where a warning will be issued. Continue to monitor the latest
forecasts for updates as the storm approaches.

I am hoping so.
Would be able to ride Island Lake or Pinckney State Park if there's 4" or more on the ground.
Went up on Sunday morning and came back Monday right rode 340 miles.
Flew to chicago for work tuesday night. Just got back into Michigan an hour ago after a canceled flight and had to change airports.
Now i am going to go and clean the sled up and hopefully be able to ride sunday night????????????

I have my first snowmobile that I purchased in April of last year, so basically I have been starring at it drooling for the last 8 months. Midway through November I send all the shocks out to get rebuilt(they had 3000 miles on them). I ask the guy when he would have them back to me if I sent them out that day, he tells me the first week of December. He has been good with responding to emails up until the last one I sent on Thursday asking if they shipped yet. The check I sent cashed on Tuesday. AAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!! The guy is well known and trusted on another website, so I am not worried about getting screwed, but I want to rip!

Working right now until 3 pm. Cleaning the clutches tonite and gonna ride when there is at least 5 " on the ground. Lots of cut bean fields and ditches around my place so it should be good IF we get what they're calling for. If there are any HCS'ers around Monroe / Maybee area, lets meet up at the Brown Jug in Maybee. Gotta work tomorrow at 5:30 am though.

You guys running around Britton, anyone hit those moguls on Milwaukee? That little stretch was awesome, like riding snowcross. When I was coming down Milwaukee from Billmeyer( I live in Clinton) there was somebody in Jeep Cherokee contemplating wether they could make it. They waved me by and I think after they seen me airing it out over the 3-4 foot drifts they turned around and went the other way. That's the biggest drifts I've seen in this area in a long time. Maybe since the 77 blizzard.
