well i am trading my skidoo formIII to a shop so i can get my ac ext fixed now i know i should just say to hell with the trade and sell the cat and keep the skidoo but the ext has been in the family since it was new back in 89 and its a 530 and it only has 700 miles on it but since this shop is willing to take the skidoo with a melted piston in trade for fixing the ext i could pass this up and beside the skidoo is fun but its a tank compaired to the ext and the wife is mad that i am doing this and she says that we need 2 working sleds so she can come along on the rides ao i guess its time to locate another sled i am thinking about another cat ext of the same year so if anyone has a line on one let me know
Confused
PM me the problems with both sleds. I am guessing you would be better off fixing both. I work on snowmobiles out of my garage part time and I guarantee I would be much cheaper to fix both sleds then any dealer would (sorry for the sales pitch). Let me know if you are interested and I can PM you my number.

thanks for the offer to help but i an trading my skidoo for the work thst needs to be done on my AC the skidoo melted down a piston and the ac broke a ring and ruined the cylinder and head i would love to fix both sleds but i dont have that kind of $$$$$$$$$$$$ just sitting around and this way i can atleast get one sled to ride this year and i opted to get the ac fixed as it has been in the family since new and it has less than 600 miles on it ( it sat for almost 8 years ) and i get 2 years for hard riding out of the skidoo and i paid 70 bucks for it back then so i got my $ worth from it
Confused
What needs done to the AC?? I may be interested in a SD smokin.gif

it broke a ring while out on a ride and messed up the cylinder so it needs to be honed out the head repaired needs a new choke cable and either carbides or ski skins and carbides and i need to look at the rear suspension as it seems to be sitting kinda low

You are getting ripped off. And what difference does it make how long you had a sled, do you keep all the old cars and lawnmowers too? Geez, fix 'em both, isn't that expensive.

I agree. I sent you a PM with my phone number if you would like to talk. I would hate to see you get taken.

main reason i am doing this is i cant afford to fix either one right now and santa aint that nice if you get my drift so the only way i am gonna get riding this year is to do this trade and as for the lawn mower and cars comment yes i do in the past 10 years i have owned 2 cars and still have them both and i still hqve the 1985 craftsman rider mower
Confused
Good talking with you. Let me know when you are back in business and we can try to get together for a ride.
