was wondering if any body was seeing any difference with the reflash

Just got my 06 switch back today with the reflash. Went for a short, very fast ride, climbed a mountain and fired it up down a straight stretch. Things are really cooking in the engine room with the new ecu codes. This is one fast machine!
FUSIONPOWER
had mine done and it really goes great. haven't ridden enough to know what the mileage or real performance is, but it really pulls hard.
lukester
Pop in exaust is gone
-15 and they both fired off flawlessly
Pulls like a friggen freight train!
Hard to keep the skis on the ground
These things haul A$$!!!!!

Got the sleds back yesterday after the reflash and shock mount bulletins and made a short 35 mile run this morning. Both my brothers and my sleds really ran great. Great acceleration and all around performance. Both of us saw 86 & 87 mph in a 1000 foot run where we have our grass drags, that was in about 4=6 inches of fresh stuff we got last night. I did not look at the tach until just before I shut it down, it was at 8050. The max recorded was 8500 rpm on the run. So I assume the 8500 was in the overboast mode. Also I didn't notice any of the backfiring when you chop the power that the 07 reflash was famous for. All in all great ride.

Also this is the first run we have had with the 180 degree SuperStats, we both ran between 180 and 185. It didn't really matter how hard we ran them the temps stayed stable. I think that the jack shaft cover mod helped the stability. My brother let his idle while we were in the house getting dressed and it was 190 after 15 minutes or so. So I am not to worried about overheating at idle. I would seldom Idle mine that long anyway.

Rode mine yesterday for 90 miles in PA.
Worked great and pulled hard. Trails are loose and not groomed so i couldn't really hook up but i had 96 MPH on my Max speed and 8400 RPM max. Temp was VERY STABLE at around 162 degrees. I had the notch in the jack shaft cover done as well and i agree the temp was always right where it should be with no fluctuations. I didn't think about it until i read the last review here but my backfire from last year is GONE. Didn't check mileage yet.

Overall the sled ran great for me.

ya i noticed that the backfire was gone also,i put a slp silencer on mine,it sounds pretty mean, wonder what it would have sounded like if it was still backfiring??????another thing i noticed on mine anyway,is that it seemed when it got warmed up it appeared to act like the power faded , it doesn't do that any more.what is the story on this jackshaft mod?i guess i don't know anything about that, although they did do some work in the chaincase.

My 07 FST IQ LX has not ran properly since reflash. Check engine light comes on and sled won't go over 20 MPH without misfiring. Then plugs will foul. Can get machine to straighten out for a while if I shut key off while holding throttle wide open. Anyone that can help. tjburke75@yahoo.com

I know this doesn't help but it's obvious your engine is throwing an error code and going into Limp mode. Your dealer forgot to hook something back up or the flash was not successful. Call the dealer that did it immediately.

First time I took it back had 2 error codes Dealer replaced Throttle positioning sensor, Other code said crankshaft sensor not reading properly he said this was a ghost. I told dealer it was going into limp mode and Polaris service rep. told them it was not. Sled ran no better after new throttle positioning sensor. Sled is back at dealer again. Ran fine last year 550 miles but won't go 25 without check eng. light now. However when the sled runs it runs better than it did last year.

i would say that you might have a grounding or a wire harness issue

..when you notch out the jackshaft cover/shield so the temp sensor doesn't rub or pick up vibration...most of these sleds have the temp sensor laying against the shield and when the motor moves a little under acceleration the sensor rubs, causing it to give false info to the computer .... this is what's causing the fluctuating temps that so many guys are experiencing..

A big thanks to yayou for this very important fix. The bottom 2 pictures show before and after fix.
