Like this from the factory - Has to be reset

MPH on digital - Hold in top button until it switches over to KMH

Now switch over to Rpms on digital - Hold in top and bottom buttons until it clears out for max rpms

Switch back to KMH - Hold in top button until back to MPH

Good to go - Switch back to RPM in digital and pull up max RPMS - Should be whatever it was idling at for max RPMS until you ride again

Max RPMS has to be cleared each time in KMH (Dont ask me why Cat did this)

Mines been at 8010 since last season. I thought it was suppose to reset everytime you shut it down, anyhow good information I'll give it a try.

Nope - Will only clear itself in KMH mode and then like i stated

Has to bee manually done each time - Can clear it manually as many times as you want - Good for clutching

But remember out of the hole with track spin/if any will usually show a pretty high number on the tach read out

Do rolling starts and then pin it , pull up your max rpms

Yup, for the spiking reason I don't like to use the max recall feature...that and until now I didn't know how on the XF grinning-smiley-023.gif
