I am swapping an xc100 out of my daughter's 92 Indy to an xtra10 out of a 97 XLT. I was told by some that this was a direct swap, and told by some others that all I had to do is move the rear support brackets back. After getting the suspension in place I think their all full of $hit.

Anyhow, it seems that I may have to move all 4 brackets but I am not sure of this. Has anyone had actual experience doing a swap from an xc100 to an xtra10? I need your input.

Thanks,
Kevin

See the measurements on http://www.jbshocks.com/tech.html

I would think you'll have to relocate both front and rear mounting holes.

It has been awhile since I did one but I believe it was all 4 brackets to move things into the corect location

On my 94' Polaris Storm, I only had to move the rear brackets and I moved them forward. If I were you I would find a sled with Xtra 10 and take the measurements off that. Don't go by how the suspension fits the sled!!
