Looking to add a heated shield and wondering if anyone out there knows where to take the hot wire from. Thanks

There's an accessory wire right behind the gas tank. I think it's more toward the clutch side of the sled.

Any idea on the color. Don't see anything anywhere. Thanks

Thanks for the pic. Do I just splice right into that wire. On mine that looks to be the wire for the brake light. Just to make sure what color should the wire be that I am splicing to. Thanks

should be brown and yellow thats what mine was! double check but I think thats the right one on the pic!

Don't cut it; unplug the accessory connector shown with the arrow from its protective cover. The wires on that accessory connector for '07+ M/CF sleds are black (ground) and black with red stripe (+12 V DC).

Right on. I just unplugged it and spliced into another pigtail that fits that connector cuz my accessory outlet only had bare ends. . One more thing, the part that gets unplugged I just taped the end and tucked away is that right. Thanks again for all the input.

Here's a better picture...I used a 3-outlet adapter to get more plug-ins...
