The AC published dry weight was 585 lbs.

thank's the 99's are 561 I though the 98's where only a few lbs heavier

The aluminum bulkhead saved 17 lbs so they are 578 lbs. because the '99's are 561 lbs. Thats what I remember about mine. I don't ever remember seeing 585. That sounds like the RX1 ton weight. Ha ha.

Right out of the owners manual--98 t-cat dry weight is 585--curb weight is 670. T- cat Mtn. is 600 and 685. Its up to you weather ya believe the book or not!! Shes a tank compared to the new ones but still hauls azz with 0000 problems!! :beerchug:

GET RID OF THE STOCK PIPES AND LOSE 50 POUNDS. Then this would be the best sled you ever had. I put 5000 miles on in 3 yrs on mine and other than ripping a track, no problems. Oh yeah, do not get stuck. 650# plus with fuel cooland and oil is not easy to move arounf by yourself. Having a wench or a come-a-long could come in handy. ylsuper.gif
