Nice sled, seeing that before pic did you happen to buy that sled from kyle lacoe? I am pretty sure I saw that sled on craigslist or something. haha I like what you've done with it for the most part, not feelin the black vinyl but hey whatever floats your boat.

yeah, i'm still kinda meh on the vinyl, but its growing on me. i put alot of work into putting it on so i dont want to just scrap it. it looks nice from a distance. i baught the sled from a guy named zach mcdonald, it use to be kyle strandlunds.

Looks great guys.
I too like the All Black Darth Vader look. Are you going to be able to ride that beast this weekend Dan?? More pics and details of under the hood and skid would be great.
I'd post pics of mine but they are all stock looking so....Pretty Boring. But, we are about to finish up an All Black '03.5 ProX Mod Sled. I'll let the owner start the thread over on the ProX forum but it looks pretty sweet. Should be ready by next weekend, waiting on a few parts.
Keep um coming.

Tom, I am going to the dyno sat and will have it all shined up for monday. I will get lots of pics and a couple of the power plant too. I got new sticks, not a huge fan of what I have on it now and the pics I snapped earlier didn't show up that great. I will post it all later next week. I can't wait to log in some miles on this bad boy. Dan

does anyone know the part number for those front hood hold downs. i know the part number for every individual piece, but was wondering if polaris sold a kit?
also polarismn, be careful when you press out the bottom a-arm balljoint, i've heard of some peoples cracking. try to use a press, not a hammer.

www.daymotorsports.com. it is originaly used to close in race car . pits, and random things like that.

Here is a before pic and an after pic. Everytime I look at the pic with all the sled wrap and decals I wish I would have left it on. It looked awesome in the pictures but in real life that sled wrap was peeling and chunks missing. Definately was a cool sled before. Big pain in the butt to get all the glue off! Now it just looks like all the others out there haha. Also missing half the studs in probably 30 miles that I've made on it. I thought there were the super strong ones, guess I was wrong! lol.
Holtzman Multirange variflow going on next week and possibly Digatron in the very near future.

I bought mine from the Schuering boys too. The stickers are fun to get off, I agree. Where did you get your filter fabric for your hood screens??

Actually a buddy of mine had a big roll of the stuff. Its stainless steel and its used as a screen when drilling for oil, not supposed to let any dirt in. Not sure exactly how or when they use it but thats what he told me. He had a new roll of it. I cut some pieces and formed them for the hood and hot glued them on. They really don't let a lot of snow in, the holes are quite small.
The hood was painted grey and then some were actually stickers. The wrap on the belly pan looked to be all one piece. Then of course all the sponser stickers were put on separate.
Hood is a new hood. I cut out the light and vents, I thought I'd be different and cut the side vents a little unique.
