Buddy of mine inherited a 98xc700 with FAST twin pipes on it.Question I have is anyone have any experience with these.Talked to FAST in Manitoba where the pipes came from and they basically told him they are no longer associated with FAST INC and had no info. This sled has burnt down a couple of times and now I'm gonna be asked to get it running right. What I need is any recommendations for 1000ft +/- 300ft for main jets, pilots, needles(position as well),any info at all.

The FAST pipes from what I can remember were 8200 rpm. I would run stock pilots, SLP CCL needles #3 or 2, mains to 205-210 depending on wash, BR10ES plugs with stock timing. He must always run good fuel. The hot seat set-up was white primary, E62 hypershift weights, orange #3, and HSP38X helix. Back in the day hot seat had much more aggressive clutch specs for the FAST pipes than SLP pipes. The pipes were from FAST in the US. FAST Ent. in Headingly were a distributor for them, and coincidentally the owners last name was Fast, no relation to FAST. You may want to run a stiffer almond primary with a set-up as above, to keep some revviness.
