Holy shit I just removed my belt for the first time and, theres gotta be an easier way than how I did it. Do you guys know any tricks?? I have been riding and wrenching on sleds for a long time and I have never had that much trouble getting a belt off. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Don't flame too hard.

Thanks all

I use a oil filter wrench on mine, works great, just lock the brake, and it opens the secondary right up. JT

It seemed really hard to me too at first... but its pretty easy now. I use the TSS tool to open the secondary, and take the secondary off first, you need to push down a bit on the bottom of the belly pan and slide it out, then just turn the primary and slide the belt out from bottom up... easy once you do it a few times, it take like 20 seconds and no bloody knuckles.

What do you mean the TSS tool. Is that the tool that has 3 prongs for taking the plastic offset peice off??

A rubber strap wrench works good as well.

I open the clutch up and unbolt the secondary then just slide off the clutch . Only takes a min and is very easy.
