Hey, wondering if anyone out there has experience with Z-Broz ARS FX front suspension kit for the IQ Race chassis? I am having some issue's getting this kit installed, and I can't ever get a straight answer from Z-Broz. Doesn't seem like they have anyone there that knows a damn thing about there kits. I purchased this kit being told it would bolt right in the IQ Race chassis. Wrong. You have to buy all the consumer IQ hardware, then spindle's which I bought from Z-Broz.

Anyway big prob is I bought the 45" kit. I called the one time and asked if the shocks are going to be to short for this kit. At first he said yes, then after talking to there tech dept I had them convinced you didn't need longer shocks. Now I have this setup in and i am thinking the shocks are too LONG. Big prob I am having is I can't get a straight answer from Z-Broz. No instructions what so ever and now I see they sell all kinds of shocks specifically for the width. Just kinda getting pissed, I ordered these back in sept with them telling me they would work great with the stock setup shocks, then I finally get the kit in November (after being told they would ship the next day in sept).

Anyway I know I ramble on. But the top a-arm ball joint looks like it is extended way to far out, to get the spindles to look any where near where they are supposed to be. I don't know if there is alot of pressure put on that top ball joint but if there is it looks like you would bend the shaft if there is. I will try to get pics of what I am dealing with on here later. But I will attach a link to there site below. I love the look and weight of this suspension but damn! If I have to kick out another 700-800 bucks for shocks I am going to be f-ed!! This IQ project has already gone over budget and I don't !! Haha.

ok, with everything installed and the sled sitting on the skis, how does the suspension look? Your lower control arms are what take the weight of the sled. The upper control arms are where you get your camber adjustment and spindle control, that's about it so you should be fine there. Craig

Do you or anyone else know what camber is supposed to be? I have a 2006 iq manual and it says TBA.

Thanks.

The camber measurments are not listed in the '07 race manual either and they way it is described in the '06 manual it looks like they did a Cut and Paste from a trailing arm suspension manual.

Maybe a dealer can give you the camber measurments from an IQ trail sled. How about Z Broz, maybe they can give you the proper measurment specs as well as exactly how it's measured, ie. loaded or unloaded. Their arms could be different than the Trail IQ Arms and require different camber specs so the toe in stays optimum throughout the entire suspension travel.

In my experience the camber on IQ racers is basically 0* while resting at ride height. Not sure if this is correct but thats the way it looks to me.
