the g/f has the 08 shift doesn't have a gas gauge and polarsi corp said if it isn't on there site they don't make one

Take the cap to the dealers try and find one the same size with the gauge in the cap. That's what I'd do. Polaris should have at least done that for the shift.

Talk about a bare-bones sled. For 09, the Shift isn't coming with front skis or a track. Price should be the same though.

And all recall letters will go out before whatever parts are needed will be manufactured.

measure depth of tank and order a cap/gauge from shade tree or hiperf.com. $15. or less.
