I have a 98'600RMK with 2'' lug and love it.These sled's really rip.I have 5800 miles on mine and no problems at all.The carbs need to be set-up properly but that is about it.There is alot of info on this site,do a search.Right now i'am looking at a 2000 600RMK.For $1600 dollars you are buying one hell-of- a sled in my opinion.

It would come with a 2in track.
Is that to big for groomed trails?

Hell no. Everyone i ride with has paddle tracks, my 1.75" being the shortest. Is the track the original? Pretty sure there was a couple years there that the stock track only had 1.75" paddles.

No problem with the 2 incher.Gives your buddys a nice snow job when you pass'em.My 98 came with 2'' as it was a snow check special.

I know that the 99 rmk 700's came in two types, one came with a 1.75" lug and the other came with a 2" lug, all depended on how big you wanted to go when you bought the sled new.

i have a 98 rmk 700 and man that thing rips. my budy has a 99 600 rmk and it pulls prety good for a 600. theres no way ou will be disapointed with that sled. hte only down side to having the big that for trail riding is the chunks that comme out the back lol. i was racing my budie on some hard packe and he had his visor open. he got a chunk in the face and ended up with a prety nice bruise lol. in the deep stuff you couldent rely ask for better . in my opinion get the sled
