I just bought a 2006 Fusion 700 CFI and was wondering if anyone knows of any specific issues with this sled? It is clean, has an EPI clutch kit and 144 studs. The previous owner said it pushed in the corners even though when I rode it, it seemed like the steering was kind of hard compared to my 04 Pro X 600. Thanks, Mark

As far as steering , you can change either the ski's or spindles, I went with the ski's first, we'll see. These sleds run well to 100, just as quick as anything out there. I did the full SLP pipe and cold air kit, it rocks.

The 700 Fusions are prone to (but to a lesser extent) the same issues that the 900 Fusions had, as the engines are almost the same. I would recommend an air-box kit (if it doesn't already have one) and the SLP torque and push arms.

You want to keep tabs on the oil pump cable and return spring. The cable can break, and the return gets gummed up, and makes the pump stick full bore.

As for the push, a change to the 07 Polaris skis should make a difference. The mounting hole in the ski was moved back and down to decrease steering effort. I kinda like the little extra effort at higher speeds that the stock skis have, as it gives you a little more feedback and stability.

These sleds are somewhat of a sleeper (IMO). Not much for speeds over the one buck mark, but as fusion 69 said, they get to 100 pretty damn quick.

Have fun with the new ride.
