I want a cheap, small one that can fit in your pocket, but can still video tape, and can take pics in a variety of settings. Now my eyes are on Canon PowerShot SD750. It is 7.1MPixel 3x optical zoom. The review said that:
The good: Nicely designed; excellent high-ISO photo quality; relatively fast; above-average movie quality; face detection.
The bad: Photos tend to have purple fringing; no optical viewfinder.

I like the shape of this camera. It looks nice. Has anyone used this camera? Does it work well?
The price I find at a deal site is $212.

What do you think about this one?
Or some other recommendations?

I work in a camera dept. and can easily tell you that any one of the canon elph series cameras are a good bet to go with. If you dont go with the canon line,
I would suggest looking at the Sony W80. It is a good price camera and has the image stabilizer as well as a very user friendly menu. It also has a viewfinder.
The screen is not quite as big as the sd750's 3", it is a 2.5".

By the way, the sony is under 200 and you can pick it up from a store by your house and have it that day.

I gotta vote for the one I have now, a SAMSUNG (!!) S630. 6 MP, 2.5" LCD screen, anti shake, 3X zoom, night scene, movie, portrait, automatic, panorama settings, I put a 1 gig memory card in it (2 cards for $19.99) and bought an energizer 4 battery rechargable set up at the recommendation of the salesman....at Walmart. Camera was $99.00, cards were $20.00, energizer rechargable gizmo was $40.00...well worth every penny, the cam can take movies till the card is full, a long time, like 15 minutes easily. The energizer rechargables last just about as long as "regular" batterys, and they recharge in under 10 minutes. Can't beat them. Had 500+ pics on the memory card and never ran short of space, so...
Takes really sweet pics IMO, check it out....the last pic was a full zoom in on the chipper mill some 2 miles out...the vids are pretty good considering the price of the cam..
