I'm doing an xtra 10 swap into my 94 XCR 440. The mounting plate on the sled has a hole that goes under the running board but I notice that the xtra 10 sled doesnt have that part. Can I just cut the piece off that goes under the runnung board and rivet the plate on? They tell me that the hole under the running board is for deep snow operation. All of the xtra 10 sleds I have looked at dont have this peice that goes under the running board.

When I put an Xtra-10 136" in my 98XC, I moved the plate and used the hole in the plate below the tunnel. That was where the 121" Xtra-10 rear was bolted , not through the tunnel.
