Hows the belt/ clutches? Are they spinning? Can you push it forward without the motor running or move the secondary (rear) clutch with the track off the ground? Is it frozen?

Any more information Parker? Do the clutches move in and out under higher RPM's? Does the belt turn? Is the track stuck to the suspension? Give us some more information and someone will get that turning for you.

Does it rev up? If it does check that your track is free also check your belt. That would be the first things I would check.

As soon as i read this i figured out your problem.
If that stuff^^^^^^^^ isn't the problem, check the chaincase.

try taking the belt off and see if it revs up, dont rev it too crazy just slowly not too much.
if it revs up check your drive line.

Your profile claims you own a 2005 XC 700 but yet your screwing with this junk? Oh yeah, all those parts you listed as being replaced would cost more than what it's worth.

alright, if anyone knows someone that might know how to fix it pass it along please.. in the mean time i'm gunna try and see if there is any problems in the chaincase again, may have missed somethin the first time, is it possible that the rod running through the chaincase is seized somewheres other than the chaincase?

Are you sure you dont have the track tension way too tight? you did say you put a new track on it.

OK, Start at the motor, take the belt off and see if the primary clutch is engaging (sometimes the clutch arms get frozen and do no move or broken spring), next check the secondary to see if works (broken spring, frozen sleave), then onto the chaincase (broken chain, froze bearing) if all else fails onto the track (frozen or rusted drive axle bearings). Then something people might of forgot. Measure the track, reason being the track could of shrank and is tight.

If it was here in Sask. the belt could be frozen to the pulley, it will certianly give the mechiancal advantage to the belt and not the engine

..a friend of mine and our little chruch group drove about 200 miles for a nice weekend outting.. one guy has all a cats and is always trying to bug me on my ski doos..well we got to our location and started to bring the sleds off the trailer...except his..it was locked up big time..it would run fine and Idle, but not engage.....couple of his friends pulled it off the trailer and started to chop out the suspension ice/snow, open the hood and move things around....I saw from a short distance what the problem was!!..I just watched for about 15 min's & could'nt take it anymore...his was stumped!!..I walked over to his sled and "Un-fastened" his locked "Parking Brake"...hehe...so as simple as it is..ckeck your parking brake..and by all means let us know what it was...good luck
