I re-registered my sled and they sent me a sticker that expires 08/08 and now I just realized that I took the yellow reg sticker off from last year.So I am wodering was I suppose to keep that sticker? If thats the case can you get a new one?

OOPS!!! Call DMV on Monday and they will instruct you on the process. It'll cost you a few bucks, but they'll set you up.

If you regestered it in CT than i dont think you need the old one. Its like a car, i usually take the old one off and put the new sticker on. As long as it does not expire until 08/08 you are registered. Thats my opinion.

I hope you didnt register in ct? Why would you pay property tax on something you dont really use around here.

Sorry to hijack here, but say I bought my sled in VT, (I'm not a resident), Can I register in VT and would I have to pay sales tax to VT? Last year we got VT registrations in CT, and didn't pay sales tax to anyone. (new sleds). I'm not trying to be a weasel, but I'm taxed to death as it is. Just look at where I live. I single handedly support about a dozen welfare "island people"!!!

I wouldn't think so because you don't live in Vt you would have to pay tax only if you bought in mass or ended up registering in mass and bought from out of state. I live in ct and bought my sled in NH and never paid tax on it!

SSHHHHHHHHHHHH! Stop posting this stuff about not paying taxes. The wrong people can find out and close this loophole for all.
