Hey guys,
My buddy has a 1995 or 96 new generation (500 liquid) chassis in his yard. He badly wants a sled to ride for the winter. The motor in this sled was blown..would need a new crank (he priced one out at $600) and who knows what else. The only way he will have a sled to ride is to drop in the 440 liquid motor from my '04 ProXR. His dad won't let him buy a used sled, so please don't say thats the way to go. This is a good project we would like to attempt and something to teach him a lot about sleds.

So:
-is it possible?
What would need to be changed/bought to do it?

As long as the motor straps from his 500 liquid would bolt to my 440 motor, and the ignition harness would all attach I think we could get her running. He basically just wants something to run for the winter, he's gonna buy a new sled when he moves away from home. Then he can leave the project for his dad to use.
