i have a cva, traditions, and tc, the tc is the most comfortable gun but they are just about all the same accuracy wise, but sometimes the traditions has a slight delay when you pull the trigger, must be a shitty nipple design. if you are just getting into it just buy a basic cva for around $200 put a nice scope on it and get it sighted in real good. muzzleloaders are very dirty guns and NEED to be cleaned after everytime you go shooting. if you dont clean them good and let them sit dirty it will pit up the barrel and hurt the accuracy

I'm shooting a cva kodiak.
Cheap and they shoot well.
Wouldnt mind a TC pro hunter though.....

I just got the Pro Hunter by TC and put the Omega Muzzleloading scope by Nikon on it. Although I think I spent way to much money on it I do believe that it is a great gun. I can easily shoot out to 150 yards. At the range I have shot even further but where I hunt a 150 yard shot is about the furthest I can get. But, in the end I have to say with the new speed breech and the recoil reduction but pad along with other great features the Pro Hunter is well worth the price.

I shoot an T/C Omega. Love it. In MN you can't use scopes, it ran me under $400 i think. I highly recommend it. The only thing I would of gotten different would be a thumbhole stock.

Don't let the dealer talk you into spending big $ for cleaning products. Best thing that I have ever used was hot soapy water.

Oh yea CVA pro hunter

That is a pretty good point, I like to use hot soapy water and then finish it off with a little remington oil. There is no need to buy all that stuff that you do not really need.
