Taking out all 4 of my Walker Evans shocks for rebuild. Where is the best place to send them for rebuild? Here is a list I've compiled of possibilities:

All Parts Racing
Shock Therapy Racing
JB Shocks
Sled-Parts.com
Goodwin Performance
Fett Bros.

I send mine to tri city polaris out in utah. They have any part w-e ever made and they build retrofit suspensions with w-e shocks. Nice guys on the phone and good turnaround.I have atotal of 8 w-e shocks on variuos sleds, and 2 tri city suspensions with w-e.Never hade one that they built go less than 2 seasons before needing work, one set has 4 seasons and still good.

I have SouthSide Sales in North Adams Mass do mine. He is the North East head of Polaris Snocross by the way. So far his work has been good. If you need more info let me know.

I use JB shocks for all of my work. His service is top notch and his turn around time is very good. But, and I mean But, I like to use a shop that is close to where I live so that I can keep the shipping turn around time as low as possible.

Are any of the shops you listed close to where you live????

Just got mine back from Goodwin last night. Will be putting them back on this weekend. Great turnaround, and very good customer service. Will see how they hold up. Might get some miles on this weekend in the U.P. especially with the storm they are talking about!!!

you missed one in maine ! Give Eric a call or email him , tell him what your looking to do . He is very good and checks everything . If you have a problem talk to him about it , He found a issue I had with a big dollar set of shocks that no one else found ! a few new hard parts and my oil leak was cured !

Don't know how I missed that one! Thanks for the info, xc-mark. His prices are a bit more, but I'd rather support a local business... I'll give him a shout for sure. I don't suppose you know if he has any deals if I send him all 4 shocks?

I dont think Eric has a shock "deal" but shipping will be less and he turned 4 of my shocks around in 5 working days with needing parts he didnt have in stock..... My buddy had his shocks done there and he got his back in his hands in 8 days round trip....2days shipped out, 2days shipped back , 2days in the weekend , and 2 days on the bench. Every one I have sent to him has had very good luck , A rockmaple racer told me about his service . I sent the same 4 shocks to Carls in Idaho 3 years ago , it took 3 weeks to get them serviced and one was leaking oil the day I took it out of the box. I payed WAY more then a fair price for Carls to service my shock , the valving SUCKED and one leaked oil , sent the same 4 shocks to Eric and talked to him on the phone about the shocks revalved them and replace the shock caps with differnt caps with updated trail friendly seals( my front shocks are Ryde race units off a 2002 factory race sled) . All issues solved and I like the valving Eric picked much better then Carls! the Ryde shock I have are high speed and low speed compresion adjustable and rebound adjustable.Click to view attachment

xc those are some of the hardest shocks to get your hands on, they are not stock they are prototype ryde fx shocks in there day. i have 3 out of 4 in the set and kinda made a 4th, they are insane shock. i have been not posting on this topic to let you choose but as said. id go with any other the above, everyone listed does good work. but this time of year go with whoever is the closes or can get them back to you the fastest.
