I'm going to start turkey hunting this summer providing I get my turkey tag i applied today for the spring 08 season in wisconsin. Can someone help me out im trying to decide what brand camo i should try for the spring 08. i was told by gander mountain tonight that i should look for a pattern that has a little bit of green. well that still leaves the different brands prety big. so if u can give me some advise that would be apprechiated. thanks in advance.

I also have the leafy camo and I swear buy it, I have the mossy oak breakup pattern. I bought my suit from Cabelas in spring, it was like 200 some thing for the suit and then I got the matching mask.

im not really sure what you are asking about. but if you are asking about if the leafy camo matters no it doesnt but it doesnt hurt either. i too wear 3-D camo for both deer and turkey but i also wear reg camo when its yet out. if you are asking does it matter if you have good camo or not for turkey it sure does. it may not be a factor on every hunt but it sure does make a different over all. you do want to make sure that your top and bottom do match though. i would have to say that matching your back ground and matching your set is the most important things you can do. people may think what i am saying may be crazy but trukeys are very smart birds with amazing eyesight. any brand of camo will work but you deff want to try to have some green in the pattern. i wear a no name brand camo for my 3d suit just cause it was a good deal put the pattern works great. for my rain gear i use the new realtree ap hd. you can spend a ton or camo or not spend much at all it just depends on what you do just make sure that you have green in the pattern and match top and bottom.

You are deffinately right!!! Turkeys have an AMAZING eyesight, the slightest movement, and they know something is up, and they are going to leave...
