Was gonna head out in the garage the other night to wrench on my ol' 93 Polaris XLT 600 to get it ready for the season and thought I would ask for some opinions on what might be causing these symptoms I am experiencing. On our last ride out last year, the sled was acting very weird. It would run normal on occasion and then all the sudden start to bog down to where I would either have to feather the throttle and play with it to get it to come back to life or come to a complete stop and take off again. It seemed to happen more when you were trying to run it at wide open. I changed the plugs on the ride and didn't do much for it. One thing I did notice when I got home was about a 2inch section of cogs on the belt were missing, but I wasn't sure if that would cause the symptoms I was experiencing. If anyone has any advice on what I could look for, I would much appreciate it. I know the sled is old, but before that ride, it ran great. One other thing, it was very warm that day, probably around 45-50 but with almost a foot of fresh snow on the ground from the day before. Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me. Want to get this sled ready so my gf can ride it this season!

Clean the carbs, check choke cables for sticking on, adjust throttles so they open at the same time.
That fixed my 1994 XLT.
