Does anyone know if the oil pump from an '01 440 will work on the '04 440 engine (#2540054)? Or do you have to have the 600HO pump (#2540117 )?
Full Version: '04 440 Oil injection question
The HO pump is the proper pump to use on the '04 and newer 440's. Because of the faster spinning water pump shaft you must use the appropriate oil pump.

Anyone know if Part# 2540117 is the correct part no.? I grabbed it from the '04 Pro X fiche at http://parts.polarisind.com/Assemblies.asp.
2520505 is the one ive been using on all my conversions...its off a 06 ho.I believe eather will work....Kevin
