I think hyvo only comes in 1 with....15 IF I recall? I have a bout 200 miles on my geared down xc-8 running 24-41 ,It really wakes up these sleds!

XCmark,
Did you do anything else to your sled other than gearing it down?

I believe all 98 and newer Polaris came with 3/4 wide HYVO.

Your sled has the 3/4" wide HYVO gears. You should have 25/40 gearing if stock.

Thanks for replying guys,
After doing some more research, 98 sleds and newer are running HYVO gears with a 3/4 chain which is 12w. 24/41 is going in this weekend. I hoping gearing change will allow the clutches to fully shift out, and give me more top end.

Anyone running any faster than 112GPS (121 on speedo) with a single pipe on an xc800(that is with stock 25/40 gears)!!!! There seems to be a wall there with the stock gears or that's all she trully has!!!! Thanks
