I have around 20 pounds of Black Angus Ground beef that I need to use up, great stuff might I add! You got any good recipes that include ground beef? I don't care what the hell it is, I'm not a picky eater, I will eat anything. Keep in mind the weber is cleaned and closed down for the season.

Polish Hamburgers

Ground Beef
bread
onions
egg
bread crumbs

4 slices bread per 1 lbs ground beef....wet bread down with water and add into ground beef with one small onion chopped, 1/2 c bread crumbs and 2 eggs. Mix all together and make into patties. Pour enough oil into fry pan to cover bottom and heat oil. Oil must be very hot and put patties into fry pan. Cook on medium heat until done. We usually soak cucumbers in white vinegar for about 1/2 hour and eat with patties.

You can adjust amount of onion and bread crumbs to your taste once you make it the first time if you want.

You can make Hamburger Soup

Brown the Hamburger
Add to a pot of water with chopped up onions
1 Can of Diced tomatos (I like to use the ones w/jalopenos in them)
Add any other vegetables that you want or have on hand
Potatos are a must have

Add Salt and Pepper to taste

Cook until vegetables are done and then serve...............

I have two girls 4 and 5 and they love to eat this soup..........we also call it Hobo Stew (thats when we make due with what we have at home)

Heres an old one from the dirty 30's. Its called Loggers Mush. My grandad( long passed) used to make it for us as kids. Brown up some ground beef( luxury food in the depression era), add some chopped onion and sautee until clear. Toss in a handful of grated cheddar(optional). Then, crack in a few eggs and stir until eggs are cooked. Salt and pepper to taste. Make up a pile of buttered toast and dig in. Great with some HP sauce or hot sauce too.

Caution, it looks FUGLY on a plate but it sure tastes good.
