i have an 02 800xc edge x and was wondering how fast it is . i just bought it and its modded but i was just wondering about stock figures.

I believe they were stated to go 115mph stock. I bought a 2002 600 XC and it said 105mph and I know they said at the time that you add 5mph per 100cc increase.

when my dads 02 800 was stock it would spin about 110-115

I agree. I only raced 1, and beat him 2 out of 3 times.
Mine went 113 MPH on ice in about .3 miles, speedo said almost on 120 MPH.
However on most hard packed lakes, it had a hard time getting over 105 to 110 on the speedo. I never did figure out how to clutch it for (consistant) top end on hardpacked snow!

my dad had one it was bone stock and it buried the speedometer. Which was probably around 110 GPS wise i assume.

Bone stock, my 02 was struggling to get past 100. The stock clutching was way too weak. Put in heavier weights and I gained 15mph right away.
