after i used a jack hammer to get the flywheel off(lol)i pulled the stator it looked fine but i sent it in to electric tech to be rewired. i called them yesterday to find out that in the wiring wrapup it was shorting out causing my LOW voltage problems IE: weak handwarmers, weak visor, and flames shooting out of the muffler. It seems the computer was sensing low voltage and pulling back the timing, power valves seemed intemittant, and letting the extra fuel run out the exhaust to be ignited in my muffler. First EFi problem in 7000miles so i cant compain to much. It seems alot of odd probems lead back to the infamous Arctic cat stators.
