How dependale is the 93 XLT 580 motor? What kind of performance can I expect? Any down side to the motor? Is it faster then the Indy 500? Thanks for your imput.

Bullit proof. as long as its never been apart. many performance parts out there. the 500 doesn,t have a chance

had a 94 that ran awesome. Had a can on it with a clutch kit and jetted. It surprised many 600's and gave a run on some 7's. Last i knew a couple years ago, it was still running and he bragged how fast it was.

One of the best motors Polaris used. Rivals the 500 for sure in dependability. I put 10,000 miles on one and the needles and seats were my only issue ever. Keep it stock pipe and clutch it and you will have one of the most dependable sleds made.
