Just purchased a 2003 ZL600 ESR, but did not get the manual. Can anyone send me the Operator's Manual Section on how the Command Start is supposed to work. Do you have to push both buttons on the remote to start? Does pushing one stop the engine? Any info would be appreciated.

Pushing #1 starts the engine, #2 stops the engine. Kill switch needs to be up, key switch off, hood closed.

Gave it a try, no go.
Tested the battery, 12 volts as required. Red LED goes on when you push either button.
Pulled the black pick up wire out of the tool box, stripped a bit of it back, still no go.
Is there a switch somewhere that might have gotten turned off (like on a car command start)?
Any other ideas?

Yes, key switch starts the sled just fine.

Did somebody change the battery in the Remote or the Sled lately? Sounds to me like it needs to relearn the code your remote is putting off. Although for the life of me I can't remember how to reset it. Don't hold your breath, but I'll see what I can dig up for you.
