I have a 2002 ZL600SS with 2700 miles on it. It runs great never cleaned the power valves. Is it over due ? I use cat oil and have no problems. I see other riders horror stories. Thanks for any help buttrock.gif

You are way overdue. Cleaning or checking your APV is something that should be done about every 1000 miles. My personal experience has had me switch to Amsoil from the APV Cat oil I seem to get better results. It is not a big job to do yourself or not very expensive for your dealer to do.

I have over 5000 miles on this sled now and have absolutely no complaints. It is by far the best riding machine ever built for groomed trails. I had one SS wire cut off but other than that very little trouble. I am looking to get a 2005, but just because I want to do something while my value is still high.
