I am having problems with my buddy's RXL. It is around a 1992 or 1993 and seems to flood out when you try and start it. If I take the plugs out and dry them, sometimes I can get it to run first pull. If I don't get it on the first pull it will not start. If it starts it runs great. Also the fuel injection controller is constantly flashing even with the key off. It flashes one long flash then 2 quick ones. Anyone know why? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

One of the sensors is probably bad. Or, the battery may be low. Get a dealer to put the SELECT MONITOR on it and diagnose the problem. I do have the factory manual for 93 and earlier, so I'll check and see what the flashes mean and get back to you.

That would be trouble code 12, crankcase temp. sensor.
