i have this thing to follow http://snowmobile.off-road.com/snowmobile/...l.jsp?id=253731, but it is a yamaha and the last few post i read had some things that where different. this site gives me a gist of what i need to do, i am curious of when i pull the crank case cover off will i need to replace anything? anything i need to know?

It matters how many drivers you have on the drive axle if there is just 2 you wont have to replace anything but the oil in the chain case. But if it was my sled if I am that far into it I would at minimum replace the bearing on the speedo pickup side and I always replace the bolt that holds the botttom gear on( use a grade 8 and make sure you lock tite it ).

well now that you reminded me, the sled was converted to semi race so it doesn't have a speedo, not sure if the cable is their or not, but i would love to get a speedo in their if i could, i have the cable and speedo out of my xcr, also i am going to try to get the gear out of the drive axle, and see if i can get it to work, i think it is only 2 drive wheels.
