i took the helix out of my snowmobile and it has written with marker what looks like a 45 and a 34. also it has 4 holes for the spring. and the in the gaps it has R 7 and 36. Any help with the size would be awsome

A polaris R7 is a 45-34 degree (part number 5131293)

Yeah, what he said, and the 36 is more than likely what it started out as and was re-cut to the R-7.
