The smallest riser we have installed on a sled is a 2" riser with a pivot adapter, total height is 3.5" and that required a throttle cable extension. I have a 4" riser and pivot adapter on my sled, total height 5.5" and all I needed was a throttle cable extension. With no pivot adapter I would say the tallest you could go and not extend your throttle cable would be 2" safely. We carry the entire line of Power Madd risers, adapters, extensions, hand guards, ext. Send me a PM if you want prices.

My friend just put on a 4" arctic cat riser on his 98' FIII with no cable problems....he is a hillbillie and after I put an 6.5 riser on my cat...I gave him the old 4" and he made a bracket out of some steel and cut out some of the riser inside and volla....I can show you a pic if you like....

I have a 4" and no extensions.. I could goto 6" no problem

I think it all depends on how tight the factory zip-tied the cables....I have heard it all from 2"-6"

just get in there and see how many zip-ties you can clip......obviously don't create a rats nest but I would easily goto a 6" ....in fact my 4" is going on my wifes Grand Touring and I just bought a 6" from Royal Distributing...

Open it open and see for yourself...

Hope this helps

I have an '00 600. I put on a 3" powermadd block. I did put on the cable extension, but didn't really need it. I was able to route it nicely and put the original foam and cover back on the handlebars. The brake cable is tight though, might still end up replacing that. Why are you putting one on? For me it was that I stand alot when I ride. The main reason I went with 3" was I stood up, put my arms in the ideal position and measured how high to go. Might want to look at hand guards too. If your windshield does not block the wind anymore, your hands will feel it, even with warmers. Hope this helps

I have heard a lot of differant things about the throttle anywhere from 3-5ish... and the break you can usually reroute it and not have any problems.. figure out what riser, pivot ada..etc... that you are buying and just try it... and if it doesn't fit the ski-doo,cat,polaris shops usually carry a few of those in my area... just my 2c!
