I installed a pair of running board edge rail grips on my sled. They are Green(or at least one side is) the right side is turning black from the exhaust. :doh:
I have a bottle of "Cat Cleaner" that is made for the belly pan but the instructions state that it is not to be used on any painted surface. What is the best thing to use? I'm also hoping that when I switch to a synthetic oil, that this problem will be reduced.

A friend put me onto Westley's Bleach White. (Walmart) great stuff, cleans all the carbon and grease of my 02 ZR 800

I've used some Castrol Super Clean (purple bottle) and it cleans exhaust residue off pretty good.
