You might have read my last posts on this messup, but the long and short of it is that I screwed the outside sheeve by totally F*&^ing up one of the post bolt holes up.

I have gone to the dealer and browns as well as ebay... Dealer and browns both say arctic cat has a note on the part # that they no longer have single sheave stock, and no long will be selling it by itself. Only the full uncalibrated clutch will be sold.... ITS 599.99 instead of 190... nothing on ebay. I have Dan ODS looking for some used or new parts for me... But thought I'd ask the group here too...

does anyone have an used or new primary full clutch, or just the outside sheave available for sale?

does anyone have ideas on another way to go... i looked at comet clutchs, but it would end up being expensive too to fully do the clutch.

Does anyone think that getting a bolt welded in the post and putting a nut on the end a good idea? Kinda like a wheel stud on a car. And if I had that done, how out of balanced would it be, and who balances clutches?

Have you taken it to a machine shop to see if they can weld and re-tap it?

If that's not an option try Troy at RVsports in Thief River Falls - troy@rvsports.com He has access to AC Salvage and can lots of things from there. A complete uncalibrated clutch is $373.46 from them.

as for machine shop, I'll have to look around the city and see who is capable.

After checking there is no 33mm 8.25s that are the correct part numbers that I can find... there is a handful of them but they are all for the 800-900 9 post replacement or the F6-7 models? If they are the smae then why the different part numbers, i would assume that the offset of the clutch is different.

Ahhh, there is tons of different part numbers for the 8.25 33mm but they were all replaced by the same 0746-416... so they all must be the same...
