Hey guy's , I just got this sled and have been reading all I can about it.
I have made a few updates to it so far , but I see where they are to rich from factory
This sled has 1131 mi. on it (I got it used)..
Is there anyway I can adjust the pump to where (or close) it has to be?
Meaning,. like measuring the rod of oil pump between the lock nut , if so could somebody measure there's for me untill I can get it in the snow .
Or is this something that each sled has to figured out ?
Seems I could at least get it close

Thanks Scott

I would think the most reliable way to do this is to do an oil consumption test because chances are it has already been done by the last owner. Fill the oil tank and mark the level with a Sharpie then go for a ride or 2 (when you get some snow) keeping track of the gas used. Then after refill the oil back to the Sharpie line, take the amount of oil and gas used and you can calculate the ratio. 50:1~ is where you want to be now this will change with the different types of conditions and riding so when I have done it I do it a couple of times to see where it is at.

The last thing you want to do is to adjust it then find out you are now running 60+:1. Did you buy this private or from a dealer? Asked the last owner if they had it adjusted, might save you the trouble of messing with it.

Thanks toy, I will call the dealer monday , but the previuos owner now lives in Flo.
I just thought there might be a way of checking it now , so I don;t have to do it after I get it to our cabin ..
He may be able to call for me ..

Thanks Scott

Definitely do an oil consumption test.
