Sled dollie what is the best ?
kev144
I bought a few from royal, can't remember the name, i'll look tomorrow but basically, the ones with the "plastic" wheels are shit. The "rubberish" ones seem to work much better.

agree with kev, we bought there ATS one last year and it went back ASAP, took two arms just to hold the sled in the air let alone move it anywhere

Princess Auto has theirs on sale starting Tuesday for about $35. I made my own and I think it cost me more than that. Their cheap sled covers are on sale too for about $12.
smokin george
That"s a deal for those nylon covers especially at that price.

Sorry guys made a mistake I want to know about sled carts that go under belly pan has a handle that
ties down to rear bumper and you move the sled around.
smokin george
The sled dolly at Princess auto is $ 189 and as to the quality no idea.
canadianfcat
I saw one today on royal save $40 http://www.royaldistributing.com/07/index....&Itemid=105

that is the one I have and I think Kev144 refers to....it seems to work fine although this year my strap that hooks onto the rear handle of the sled slips in the clamp so I will have to remedy that....

I think there are better ones on the market but you pay more....for $199 it works fine for the few times a year I move my sleds around....

I've had 5 dollies so far, the one I have now works the best. Look on page 71 of the 2008 HPE catalog #710-208, it's works on long or short tracks sleds, with or without trailing arms.

I bought the Princess Auto one at an auction a couple of years ago. Works good but I'm only moving around some pre 1980 Cats.

I have the one from Royal with the plastic bike wheels. The tires are always flat and I've had 3 blown tubes in 2 years. The supports that go under the belly pan are too small and I ended up breaking the fenders on my Fusion. $400 for parts, not fun. I haven't used it much since, I'll have to make some pads like come on the ATS one when I do.

I like the the one on the easymove carts web site takes the weight all the way across.
