Well another great morning out on the trails, with a great bunch of dedicated sledders beer_cheers.gif

First came the brushing of the old rail line ... TOP trail E108

Nutter
Then came the beaver dam, lots of water displaced in short amount of time.
the hunters that were in there were real happy to see our gang open that
puppy up .............. the beavers on the other hand were not so happy

You guys sure are covering alot of ground this season as always, Have you been running into alot of mud and wet areas? I had plans to go upto the cottage with "Snowflake" and "viper@pet" this weekend to do trail work but A steal of a deal came up to buy a 2007 chevy so I had to stay back . I'm hoping to get up their next weekend , but we've been experiencing alot of wet spots been hard to get in. We are praying for some good frost too stiffen things up.

Keep up the great work PPSC and I love the pics they tell a great story.

Thanks for cudos Paul thumbsup.png

Not really much at all in terms of water out there, for most part 90% of our trails have been super dry this year, accept for a few dams in really odd new places ..... I guess with the dry summer we had, the beavers have been getting creative in where they build.

What'd ya get for a new truck ???

Did you need permission from MNR to open the beaver dam?

Where can I find further info on what qualifies a dam for that exclusion, Thanks.

I'd say best bet is to talk to a local trapper Zoso, we have a one that we use for all our stuff, he also does all the township stuff.

Thanks.

We also have a trapper that we use up here.

Depending on where you are he might be able to help you out.

Or just give your local MNR office a call and they can give you some names.

Cheerss!
