Yes there is. Hold two side by side and get back to the computer. The P means projected. Depending on head design it makes for an increase in ignition timing as the electrode is closer to the piston when spark occurs. Projected plugs are iffy to run in motors that call for a Standard reach plug for the obvious reasons.

do you guys know if the BRP9ES plugs are easy to find like the BR9EYA plugs that the cats use, or will these need to be ordered?

I got my BPR9ES at the local Polaris dealer I think, either that or the auto parts store. I can't remember. But they didn't have to be ordered.

and yes im running NGK's in my 800 motor and i ran them in my 660 motor as well. i prefer them over the champions as the champs would crack in the porcellain around the electrode and take out motors. i had a set crack on me, but i caught it in time. i just happened to have the plugs out and noticed the crack.

What are you using in your mod's?
I thought about the NGK Iridium's, is that a good choice? Or are the regulars better?

I wouldn't run the Champion's. I luckily caught a pair of the Champion's with a chip in both plugs before they did any damage. Run the NGK bpr9es

But what about the mod 600-s. Do you run the Iridiums or? I have one mod engine wich has the iridiums and one with the BPR9es.
Wich are the most commonly used? The engine will run 87-8800rpms with Dmax racepipes..
