Friggin' Shiticane in Halifax. Got about 10cms so far and in only 2 hours. Hard Nor-east winds, no wind meter but I'm guessing 40kmph with gusts to 60. Lightning and thunder too. I can't remember seeing lightning in a snow storm before.

What's it doing up home down north?

Well it's on it's on way I hope. A storm like this would make ya think 2 feet for the highlands.

They should've put street lights next to the highway cams on French and South Mountains. A cam on North Moutain would've made sense too since that's where the weather station is for Environment Canada.

Snow'n and blow'n good here in Kingston area, about 6''on the Valley floor and probablly another 3 to 6 inches on the mountain( big hills). This should help get sales and service moving for our dealers, we all know they need it BAD.

South Mountain camera doesn't have a lick of snow on it.
ACT660
The highlands look like they are going to get about 6 inches of snow today and tomorrow. It's too bad we can't get a few inches of frost in the ground first and then have the snow come.

On the south mtn out around the Aylesford lake area, there is literally a good foot maybe more, it looks like the middle of winter, even saw some 3 foot drifts. If there was frost in the gound you could groom.
Lucas29
we got a total of 11" (that's what's on my deck) here in upper Sackville. With no frost and a sunny, windy day, we're down to about 6 already. I know it's not going to stay, but I sure had some fun today!!!! The neighbor hood sounded like Sutherland's lake in a Saturday afternoon in February and smelled of sweet 2 stroke oil until they finally plowed the roads an hour ago!!!
JAY MAC DOO
